Your trip to Paris wouldn’t be complete without dining at a restaurant with a La Belle Époque ambiance.
There’s an unique ambiance in Parisian restaurants that you won’t find elsewhere. Discover our favorite two City of Light’s most amazingly designed restaurants and start making reservations for your next trip to Paris!
LE LOBBY – The Peninsula Paris
Go back in the and experience the glory of the Belle Epoque era at Le Lobby. The ambiance is ornate and grand like with high ceilings, supreme chandeliers, dazzling crystal and golds and creams in soft natural light. With a live musician in a gorgeous setting it’s truly the essence of Paris.
The restaurant offers an all-day international menu by Chef Laurent Poitevin. French cuisine with an imaginative spin! Poitevin’s menu features appetizers including beef carpaccio with guacamole, wasabi and asian dressing, aged goat cheese and blue lobster salad. Delightful and light. Dining truly at it’s finest! The service matches the ambiance: very Peninsula, very impressive.
The main courses are at least as delicious as the starters. We highly recommend the bluefin tuna gnocchetti and rocket salad! Preferring meat? Choose the perfectly cooked filet of beef with potatoes and marrow, or the chicken breast with beef ceccina and caramelized onion ravioli or do you rather like to try the mediterranean vegetables stuffed with lamb shoulder?
Finishing your feast at Le Lobby is heavenly! They have a nice selection of cheeses and desserts. We’re still dreaming about the lemon marmalade served with lime, verbena and whipped mascarpone. Les fruits rouges – strawberries, rasberries and blackberries served with double cream. Le chou – vanilla and hazelnut chou served with gianduja chocolate sauce.
Our tip? Le Lobby is absolutely perfect for a romantic date night!
