Everybody talks about Jacopo. The new modern bistro near the Champs Elyseés. A colossal restaurant space with an industrial chic decor where you can find classic French dishes on the menu. It’s the new hotspot in town!
We couldn’t wait to visit Jacopo, because we were told that the menu is created by Michelin Star Chef Thibault Sombardier (finalist ‘Top-Chef’) and that the dishes are made with only fresh products by chef-cook Rémi Gonzalez. So yes, our expectations were high!
We went to Jacopo on a Friday night and could choose from 12 light snacks, 2 stewed dishes and 6 dishes of the day, 3 toppings and 4 desserts. We ate real classic French dishes, grilled with charcoal and drank authentic French wines. The food was simple, but oh so heavenly! You can have starters for less than € 10, dishes from € 14 to € 24 and desserts for €6. The snacks, served all day, are €6.
The party continued, in the basement, where we found an hidden bar (no joke, you have to pass the fridges to get there) and had extremely good cocktails. Like the ‘La Rose’ with wodka, cranberry juice, lemon, sugar, egg yolk and raspberries. We toasted in an amazing atmosphere. Trendy and relaxed.
Jacopo is the new hotspot among the Parisians for sure, and not to mention, among models, actors and singers as well. Try classic French dishes and party in the coolest environment. Here is the address:
